Valgus deformity of proximal tibia.

(a) LRS ADVanced (53000 series) in place with Multiplanar Clamp proximally; osteotomy performed.

(b) Initial lengthening to stretch soft tissues slowly.

Caution: Resect at least 1 cm of fibula; distal syndesmosis screw.
Peroneal nerve: no acute correction of valgus deformity, unless preceded by gradual lengthening and acute shortening.
