(a) Fracture with major soft tissue defect and denuded bone, or non union with osteomyelitis and soft tissue necrosis. LRS ADVanced (53000 series) in place.
(b) Debridement and resection of sufficient bone to allow soft tissue closure. Stabilization distally between middle and distal clamps. Proximal metaphyseal osteotomy.
(c) Distraction between proximal and middle clamps to restore original bone length.
Use of HA-coated screws is recommended.
