Correction of a varus deformity of the distal femur which has occurred during lengthening with the LRS ADVanced.
(a) Angular deformity following lengthening procedure; the distal clamp of 53000 series fixator is a Micrometric Swivelling Clamp.
(b) Deformity corrected by acute shortening and callus manipulation.
Use of HA-coated screws is recommended.
Note: When a Paediatric Swivelling Clamp is sed, it should be applied only for correction of the deformity. Do not lengthen with the Paediatric Swivelling Clamp.
